A deaf child and her parents visit the "Jump" activity. While the deaf child does the activity, the mother explains that the instructions say to jump with different intensities and then see what happens to the graph. The mother looks up the term soft and shows her daughter its sign. She then uses the new sign to explain to her that her jumps should be softer.
